The 2026-2027 Board
Let me introduce you to the people behind the magic for the 2026-2027 school year!
Chair: Nick (He/They)
Nick is a third year Archaeology student, and is in his second year on the board of Synkratos! He is well known for his rambles about Five Nights at Freddy's, and is always open for a side quest. They are the boss behind the scenes, making sure everything goes smoothly, besides this, he is also a student mentor, so feel free to approach if you see them around!
Secretary: Simon (He/Him)
Simon is a second year Ancient Studies student, with a specialisation in Greek. He very much enjoys ancient philosophy, and can always be found during the D&D events. He takes on many mantels, as the secretary, but also as part of the programme committee of ACASA.
Treasurer: Nadia (Any)
Nadia is a third-year Ancient Studies student who, along with way too many extra courses, also takes on the role of Synkratos’ treasurer this year. They have learned to be ok with math through their love for gaming and ttrpgs.
Bridget is a second-year Ancient Studies student from London, specialising in Ancient History, and outside the ancient world she spends her time drinking pints, dancing ballet, or playing the clarinet.
This year as the Social and Cultural Member, she can’t wait to help organise a wide range of activities for everyone to enjoy, whether you want to do a museum trip, a book club, or a pub crawl.
